Online Therapy

Why choose online therapy?

Convenience

Online therapy can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, making it easier for people who live in remote areas or have mobility issues to access therapy.

Affordability

Online therapy is often less expensive than in-person therapy due to reduced overhead costs for therapists.

Flexibility

Online therapy sessions can often be scheduled at more flexible times than in-person therapy, making it easier for people with busy schedules to fit therapy into their lives.

Anonymity

Online therapy allows clients to maintain a greater degree of anonymity, which can be especially important for those who feel uncomfortable discussing sensitive topics in person.

Reduced Stigma

For those who feel embarrassed or ashamed about seeking mental health help, online therapy can be a less stigmatized option than in-person therapy.

Greater Access to Specialists

Online therapy can connect clients with mental health specialists who might not be available locally, allowing them to access the best possible care.

Increased Comfort

For some individuals, the comfort of their own home can be a more soothing and conducive environment for therapy than an unfamiliar therapist's office.

Better Communication

Some people find it easier to express themselves online rather than in person, allowing them to communicate more effectively with their therapist.

Reduced Travel

Online therapy eliminates the need for clients to travel to a therapist's office, saving time and money.

Consistency

Online therapy can be more consistent for clients who travel frequently or have unpredictable schedules, as they can continue their therapy sessions regardless of their physical location.

How does online therapy work?

You can schedule a regular weekly online therapy session at a time that suits you best. Additionally, you can attend your session from any location and on any device.

There are two types of online therapy appointments:

Online Consultation (One-Off)

A one-off online consultation allows us to discuss the issues you are facing and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions. Following this consultation, there is no pressure to continue with further sessions.

Online Sessions (Weekly)

After you have had your online consultation and agree that online therapy is what you need, book a series of weekly online sessions to start tackling the issues you would like to address. You can book as many weekly sessions as you need. I recommend choosing a regular time and day that works for you.
